Hiding

I'm so very frightened
That you might see
All the secrets I hold
So deep inside of me
So I've built up a wall
Using bricks made of lies
And I've created a mask
To remain in disguise
And if you catch a glimpse
Of what I hold inside
I'll act like your mistaken
I'll say it was the past
I'll continue to hide
I won't let you see the truth
I'll just create more lies
Pretend I'm perfectly fine
Stay hidden behind my disguise.
